Metric Socket Head Cap Screws

A metric socket head cap screw is an externally threaded fastener with unified threads, a cylindrical head with a flat top surface, knurled cylindrical sides and hexagonal recess. The rounded cap-shaped heads that feature a six-sided hex drive are designed to be installed with Allen socket wrenches. When these wrenches are used with the metric socket head cap screws, it ensures proper insertion at a proper angle every time: meaning fewer wasted screws, increased safety, and less effort required. In the event that an Allen socket wrench is not available, the metric cap screws can still be installed manually using the side grooves on the cap.
